The Fall Gathering Retreat is coming up soon! The dates are Friday and Saturday, October 24 and 25 . I thought I shouldn't hold the Hotel information any longer so you can make your reservations before it's too late. Speaker information and the detailed schedule will be made available soon.
While planning this year's gathering we're keeping in mind the feedback from last year's. So we're changing to a better hotel (but a cheaper room rate), and we're still in a central area that's fairly equidistant to most of our parishes. Also according to feedback, the individual organizations' meetings will take place on Friday evening, and Saturday will be dedicated for a brief common session and the retreat. And as we insisted last year, we would like to remind you again this year, that the Fall Gathering Retreat is NOT just for delegates, it's open for everyone.
The hotel information can be found below:

Five Steps To Spiritual Growth: A Journey by Peter M. Kalellis in Books

By Peter M. Kalellis - Paulist Press (2005) - Paperback - 176 pages - ISBN 080914302X

We are physical beings, and yet we are inherently spiritual beings who yearn to move closer to God, writes D. Peter Kalellis. He shows us how in this practical and insightful guide focused on the dynamics of the spiritual journey, on the continual process of developing a deeper relationship with God and consequently becoming better human beings that begins with our awareness and decision to listen to God's loving presence in our lives and in our world and includes our faith, focus, understanding and action. Drawing upon Scripture, the writings of the Orthodox Fathers, sources literary ("Les Miserables), philosophical (Plato, Socrates, Pythagoras), and cinematic ("The Lion King), as well as the author's own experiences as a psychotherapist, family and marriage therapist, and former Greek Orthodox priest, this is an intelligently written and infectiously enthusiastic invitation to journey to faith that contributes to the literature of Christian spirituality. It includes end-chapter thoughts and questions for reflection and bibliography at book's end
